Abelha Organic Cachaça joined the Love Drinks portfolio just a few months after I did. During a concept meeting at Barrio in Soho, where we tasted the product and discussed it’s place and potential in the market, I had to pinch myself. Here was a truly good product, made with a carefully considered, ethical process and a truly creative team invested in promoting their brand in innovative ways. This Brazilian sugar cane spirit was a joy to work with and highlights included the Cambridge Goat Race, representing the brand at the Brazilian embassy, the creation of new product shots and the PR surrounding the Brazil-based World Cup of 2014.
